News On John Cena Injury Update, New “Instant Replay” Angle, New Steel Cage & CM Punk

WWE Extreme Rules 2013 - John Cena Injury

– For those who missed the WWE Extreme Rules post-show last night,

– John Cena refused a trip to the hospital and got up off the stretcher before it was loaded into the ambulance. Cena tore his neck brace off and walked off with the help of a trainer. WWE is promising medical updates on Cena, Ryback, Triple H and others on tonight’s RAW.

– The “instant replay” angle WWE used in the Jack Swagger vs. Alberto Del Rio match at Extreme Rules is something officials have talked about using for several months now. They are hyping it as the “first-ever instant replay” used in WWE on their website.

– As seen at last night’s WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view, WWE debuted a new steel cage for the main event. The new cage was made into three sections on each side instead of two. It was also taller and featured platforms in the corners for the wrestlers to stand on.

CM Punk will be appearing at a special Wizard World VIP Experience event at Basketball City (Pier 36) in New York City on June 28th from 5pm until 9pm. Availability is limited and advance purchase is suggested. Visit wizardworld.com for more information.
